Disaster preparedness doesn’t start with a response plan, it begins with a reliable power source.
From emergency coordination centers to broadband networks and first responder systems, the ability to communicate and act during a crisis depends on having energy systems that don’t fail when the grid does.
That’s why HCI Energy is heading to the Tribal Emergency Management Conference, June 10–11, 2025, at Pechanga Resort Casino. We’re joining Tribal leaders, emergency managers, and infrastructure experts for two days of learning and collaboration.
We’re proud to share that Scott Briley, Account Executive at HCI Energy, will speak on the panel "Preparation and Response to Disaster." The session will explore key strategies like risk assessment, infrastructure readiness, and technological innovation, with real-world examples from those who’ve helped communities stay connected through crisis.
Scott brings over a decade of experience in renewable energy and communications. He works closely with Tribal communities to implement hybrid power systems that reduce maintenance, lower fuel dependency, and—most importantly—keep sites online when it matters most.
HCI Energy will be on-site to connect with Tribal leaders and emergency managers . While we won’t have our Hybrid Power Shelter, Cabinet, or Zero-glitch Power Module (ZPM) on display, our team will be sharing real-world case studies, answering questions, and providing live demos of our myHCI remote monitoring software.
These systems are enabling:
Reliable, off-grid power for broadband, emergency response, and critical infrastructure
Remote monitoring with early-warning alerts for outages or equipment failures
Lower OpEx with reduced fuel usage and fewer site visits
Long-term reliability in areas where the grid can’t reach
Come see us on the show floor to explore how hybrid energy solutions are helping Tribal communities strengthen emergency readiness and ensure long-term connectivity.
Our hybrid energy systems are already serving Tribal communities across North America.

Whether you’re building out broadband, improving emergency coordination, or strengthening disaster readiness, we’re here to help. Swing by our booth to meet Scott Briley and Bernie Dugan, and let’s talk about how hybrid power solutions can support your community’s goals.
