Joseph (Joe) Kessinger
CEO
As Chief Executive Officer of HCI Energy, Joe leads the company’s mission to modernize power infrastructure for mission critical telecom, public safety, and industrial networks. He works with mobile network operators, infrastructure owners, and partners to address the growing gap between legacy power systems and the operational, economic, and resilience demands of today’s distributed networks. His focus spans system architecture, lifecycle economics, risk reduction, and the role of intelligent power as a strategic asset rather than a commodity expense.
With more than 35 years of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and business leadership, he brings a rigorous economic lens to infrastructure investment and long-term power strategy. His background includes roles at KPMG and EY, management of venture and private equity portfolios, and the successful ownership and exit of multiple operating companies.
In addition to his role at HCI Energy, Joe serves as Executive Vice President of DeBruce Companies and on the advisory boards of five privately held companies.
