HCI Energy Featured at the Kansas Society of Professional Engineers Annual Legislative Breakfast

As HCI Energy continues to grow and expand its renewable hybrid energy initiative, an increasing number of organizations are taking note. Today, HCI Energy founder and CEO Ray Ansari and David Rondeau, director of sales, had the pleasure of presenting at the Kansas Society of Professional Engineers (KSPE) Annual Legislative Breakfast about the value of renewable energy solutions and the importance of extending reliable power to remote locations.

Held at the Hyatt Place in Lenexa, Kan., the event included an audience of chapter membership (licensed Professional Engineers serving Kansas in Atchison, Doniphan, Johnson, Leavenworth, Linn, Miami, and Wyandotte counties), legislators, and lobbyists. HCI Energy was selected to present by event coordinator Charlie Love in an effort to provide these individuals with an example of innovation being developed in their home region and to present how multi-disciplined engineering can solve unique problems. Interest in HCI Energy’s Hybrid Cube technology solution was high as measured by the number of probing questions from attendees.

Since 1910, KSPE has represented all engineering disciplines and practices for the state’s licensed professional engineers. Each year, Kansas state legislators — including state senators and state representatives from each of the districts within a seven-county membership geography around the Kansas City area — are invited to meet with the Eastern Chapter of the KSPE membership at its annual Legislative Breakfast. The purpose of the event is to allow legislators to become better acquainted with the members of the delegation and local officials, to increase awareness of the organization and the role of Professional Engineers, and to see how Professional Engineers can aid legislators in important policy deliberations.

In pursuit of its vision and mission, HCI Energy depends on a midwestern ecosystem of practical innovation. This event provided an exceptional networking opportunity in addition to serving as a platform for communicating HCI’s goals in serving a variety of industry verticals, from disaster relief and military operations to telecom and construction.
