The December 19, 2022 edition of Tribal Business News featured an article about our recent installation in the remote Inuit village of Unalakleet, Alaska.  Reporter Chez Oxendine interviewed Harold Johnson, founder of Alaska Tribal Broadband LLC. HCI collaborated with Harold Johnson to configure and deploy the first of what we hope will be many installations of our Hybrid Power Shelter™ that offers ruggedized telecommunications Central Office capabilities in remote or otherwise challenging areas.

We were proud that our pre-assembled backup power solution protected Unalakleet’s recently installed satellite and wireless internet equipment — crucial for communicating between emergency teams and first responders — allowing them to stay online after devastating Typhoon Merbok.
